Lillybet's Papers

I make quite a lot of wedding cards but they don't always get written about, so I thought I would showcase a little collection of different styles and samples, some using lots of Stampin' Up! Producers, some a little less. Made using a Sheltering Tr ee, and the mini flower punch. Irresistibly Yours DS P paper and Expressions Naturals Elements Ellen Hutson flower dies,  Expressions Naturals Elements , text Rmbossing Folder Made using the Striped Scallops Thinlits Die and layering 2 sheets on top of each other. Using Hello Doily, and a card and box made from Kraft cardstock. I used the Envelope Punchn Board and the great Box Wizard from A Crafty Owl to get the perfect dimension so that the box was deep enough to not squash the little cluster of flowers (and bits and bobs). It's a shame they don't still make the Mr & Mrs stamp I do love the Lattice Die , Well there are quite a few more ...

The fabulous Dawn Olschefski is a great teacher and has loads of video tutorials. I recently watched this one and was inspired to make it straight away. I have used the Petite Pairs greetings, the swirl from Everything Eleanor and that great numbers set, embossed with Pewter The inside and the envelope I made to match, since US sizes don't fit our Regular envelopes.

Two super easy cards using the lattice die and Calypso coral cardstock, using one and a half die cuts on the wedding card - layered onto Sahara Sand cardstock, and the other half on the birthday card. It takes a few simple snips to maintain the curve on the smaller piece. Then you can cover the join with a strip of DSP (from Epic Day series) or ribbon - White Taffeta and some bakers twine. The flowers are fantastic because the daisy from the Best of Flowers Set coordinates perfectly with the 11/4" scallop punch.  The sentiments are a sneak peak from the new Artisan Label shape set.  Oh and of course a bit of Washi Tape (also super easy to use) from the Epic Day series. Using up retired DSP, don't even remember the exact name of this Bella series. Red, Chocolate Chip and Pink Pirouette make a great combination  Also uses the lace ribbon border punch which retired a while ago.  Soft ribbon roses from the flower trim are also gone, I will miss them. using up some Baja Breeze cardstock, some Attic Boutique Collection DSP and 2 of the sets of squares are stamped with the Elements of Style images.  Baja Breeze, Garden Green Elements of Style stampset and buttons embosslits. One non SU paper My latest class making patchwork inspired cards.  The DSP is Fan Fair which is soon retiring, Island indigo ink for this one,  the red version is in the top photo with the trio of cards. I was asked to make a Christening Card for a family that have adopted 2 girls, but they are  a 10 yr old girl and an 8 month old girl so it couldn't be a baby card. I don't have any sentiment stamps for a christening but I thought that "oh Happy day" from Bloomin' Marvellous seemed perfect. The paper flowers are not Stampin' Up! but the Lattice die, Embossing folders, Pink Pirouette Ribbon (retired) and Curly Label Punch are all SU products. I had to watch Teneale Williams video from Convention 2011 again to perfect the double bow technique Teneale Williams Stampin' Up! Workshop WOW Ribbon (thanks Teneale, love all your work). And it just needed a little something to fill in a few gaps, so I twirled a thin strip of cardstock to look like a trailing ribbon, and stamped the butterflies from Kindness Matters in Primrose Petals, then sponged them with Pink Pirouette and punched it out with the Small Butterfly Punch nad nestled it down near the bow.  Using up some of my River Rock cardstock and I think it pairs nicely with the Garden Green . I love the Lattice Die and have finally purchased it so have been playing with different layouts. The First Edition DSP is cut as a single piece to sit behind and i have punched 2 circles with the Small Scallop Punch from Raspberry Ripple . I distressed the circles with my bone folder until the cardstock separated and then layered them back together and scrunched them up for some depth. They are stitched with some linen thread and a small flower button  extra small flowers punched out with a retired flower trio punch. The Little Leaves sizzlit was used, and the Apothecary Framelits for the Green label. The Thankyou is also a retired stampset. different view, not the best photograph sorry!
