 As the end of the Annual Catalogue approaches I just had to use this lovely set one last time. Our colours this week include 2 retiring favourites too - Misty Moonlight and Just Jade. I will really miss these two.  For my square cards I used the Stamparatus to do some "stamping in the round". It took quite a bit of experimenting to get the stamps in the right spot, and while not perfect I was happiest with this result. The central flower was fussy cut and mounted on a polished pink circle. I left this one without a sentiment for simplicity This version needed to be trimmed down as I wasn't happy with the border effect. Welcome back for Episode 3 where I used the set for some all over stamping. I love the effect you can create with these gorgeous images and some simple stamping. I have used the fabulous foil edged notecards and envelopes again, Simple and quick with a big wow factor. Using the stamparatus for these images makes repeated stamping like this easy.  Stamp all 3 colours with your card held in one position. then move the cardstock to your next position and anchor it with the magnets and restamp all 3 colours Repeat until happy if you mark the underlying gridpaper with the position each time you stamp the images, you can repeat this pattern and stamp multiple cards  to line up the images stamp the large outer circle first position the radial leaf image with the tip of each leaf matching the base of the little fountain spray image - see photo below position the small solid flower image with the join between each petal exactly matching the base of the leaf stalk...

Hello again, I have a quick post of a card I made for the Spring Card making day last weekend. Looks difficult but it's not. A few passes on the bigshot, minimal stamping, some lovely paper and hey presto before you can say "Sneak Peak" there you have it. I've used Lovely Lipstick, Powder Pink and Mint Macaron with a hint of Tranquil Tide glimmer and some vellum. There are 2 stampsets which both coordinate with the same set of thinlits, very clever. I have used the floral set "Happiness Surrounds"   which has more universal application than the Christmas set. This is a fabulous new set which will only be available for one month from November 1. Welcome back for another week at CASEing the Catty as we work our way through the different sections of the catalogue. This week we look at pages 52-65, and my inspriation picture came from page 59 and the silhouette on the multicoloured background of watercolour wiht the Enjoy Life set. At least - that was where I started! I have always loved silhouette images and this set appeals to me for both its images and sentiments. I have been having a lot of success using the stamparatus and doing Multicoloured stamping.  So instead of watercolour I thought I'd try a multicoloured panel.
