#onstage 2022, Fancy Flora Suite Display Stamping, Sydney # 5 Different effects using different papers and a shaker card

Using the detailed dies creates such different looks depending on which paper you cut it from.

Wedding cards are always in high demand and this is so effective cutting the card front with the large detailed die from the Pearlescent Specialty Paper. I have gold embossed a few flowers onto Shimmer card, and heat embossed a few leaves in white onto some vellum.
The design of the die allows for layering some of the floral elements from the set onto the detailed background. It's a lovely easy effect.

The second example uses the detailed die again and cutting it from another of the DSP pages but it is then directly adhered onto a window sheet. The frame is created using the Fabulous Frames dies and cutting directly from the Fine Shimmer 12 x 12 Paper Pack ( I just love this product) . Layer it all up with some adhesive foam strips and your shaker is a wow card.

The gorgeous Fancy Flora DSP is so colourful and versatile. For the next 3 cards I simply left the DSP as the star of the show and added a sentiment using some of the labels dies for a great effect.

Adding texture to the DSP is a simple trick and changes the look and feel of your project.

I hope I've given you a few ideas on how to use this gorgeous DSP.
I still have a few more samples to show you, so be sure and pop back and check out all of this week's posts.

I hope you have a creative week and remember,

 post something pretty!"
cheers, Liz

Envelope Dies perfect for an Acetate Tent card and some new DSP

After creating yesterday's cards I was on a roll and created this one using the beautiful Gilded Autumn DSP and the Fancy Phrases stamp set.  I really love the sentiments in this set.  It is such a simple design and easy to create. You can find all the directions on yesterday's post for Just Add Ink (JAI#518)  I watercoloured the white leaf after I had adhered the gold veins just to soften it, and I added a strip of mint DSP to the front of one of the tent stands as the white was a bit stark. That's the cool thing about this design, you can change it up plenty of ways. I'm sure we can all send these type of cards at the moment. I hope you are safe and well, and staying connected, wherever you are.
