Bravo Burgundy French Foliage and the AquaPainter Cards

Using up some retiring products and I remember how much I do like Bravo Burgundy. I stamped it onto Very vanilla in the leaf and french script images  from French foliage and used the Aqua Painter to soften the colours. It was surprising just how pink and rich the watercoloured images were. The leaf image then required a bit more depth so has some silver highlights added with a gel pen. Extra leaves were stamped and cut out with Always Artichoke, extra sponging in Crumb Cake added a bit more depth. some Linen Thread, buttons and simple sentiments were used to finish it all off.     Handmade design of wedding card is really looking so superb. I want to take the design of Wedding Cads with specific features so suggest me the collection in your next blog. If you really need the collections over Christian Wedding Invitations for various religions then have touch in it.

Colour INKspiration#178 Happy Hibiscus

Happy Hibiscus is a new set in my collection and I needed to get it out and play with it, so this colour combination seemed like a good place to start.  Isn't the Inspiration picture amazing? I wish I was a better gardener and could grow these gorgeous treasures. But since that is not my skill I am happy to admire nature. I used the watercolour 100 paper and created two pieces of colour, one a range of dark and light Calypso Coral, and one a mix of Soft Sea Foam and Old Olive.  Once dry I was able to cut out the leaves and tiny flowers. I stamped the 3 large flowers over the watercolour and cut them out using the Hybrid Embossing Folder - It's so easy and super effective as it embosses and cuts in one pass creating some amazing depth for the blossoms. I love the leaf shapes and definition in these dies, just gorgeous. Lots of white seemed like a good way to let the colours shine, so a simple embosse...

Envelope Dies perfect for an Acetate Tent card and some new DSP

After creating yesterday's cards I was on a roll and created this one using the beautiful Gilded Autumn DSP and the Fancy Phrases stamp set.  I really love the sentiments in this set.  It is such a simple design and easy to create. You can find all the directions on yesterday's post for Just Add Ink (JAI#518)  I watercoloured the white leaf after I had adhered the gold veins just to soften it, and I added a strip of mint DSP to the front of one of the tent stands as the white was a bit stark. That's the cool thing about this design, you can change it up plenty of ways. I'm sure we can all send these type of cards at the moment.
