Just Add ink#325 the places You'll go with GDP#049 colours

Well once I got started I had to complete more than one card!

this stamp set is not new, but new to my collection. I love the delicate wreath and stamped it onto some shimmery white which had a yellow watercolour wash. I did use the colour challenge from Global Design Project #049 but my photos don't really do the colours justice.

I love the marbled watercolour paper that was part of the Sale-a-bration promo earlier this year, and while it is difficult for me to cut into it I took the plunge !!  The daffodil strip across the centre is some cotton paper scrunched up, and since I didn't have any pear pizazz twine I took a single strand from the White jute ribbon and ran it over the pear stamp pad. You have to let it dry befor trying to work with it but it doesn't take long.  The perfect white accents have had their white backing paper removed so they take on the colour of the background panel. My looping pear thread needed some anchors to hold it in place as glue dots were just too big- so bling seemed essential - doesn't it always?

thanks for looking today,
Liz

CTC#86 Everyday is a good day to send a card

Welcome to the CASEing the Catty Sunday night blogshop where we use a section of the Catalogue to inspire this weeks projects. New In colour 2025-2027 cards and the FABULOUS Extraordinary Flora Washi Tape.

Don't you love it when a single product creates enough elements to decorate a bunch of cards at one time? The Extraordinary Flora Washi tape is one of those products. I created these for my upcoming Catalogue Launch. I put the Washi onto Basic Beige to cut these flowers and love how it coordinates with the Basic Beige card base. To create these cards I trimmed 2.5cm from the front edge and adhered a 3.5cm strip of DSP to the inside of the card to give an added layer. These were easy to put together. Darling Duckling Secret Sea Strawberry Slush Timid Tiger Cloud Clover June 3 - 30 Stampin Up has an amazing offer where you can get 50% off any second product from a suite. So for example if you were to purchase the Extraordinary Flora Die you would be able to buy the tape at 50% off. Please reach out if you want more information on this great deal. You can see all the available suites in my online store. I am loving all the new colours.  I hope you have a creative week and remember,...

Colour INKspiration#178 Happy Hibiscus

Happy Hibiscus is a new set in my collection and I needed to get it out and play with it, so this colour combination seemed like a good place to start.  Isn't the Inspiration picture amazing? I wish I was a better gardener and could grow these gorgeous treasures. But since that is not my skill I am happy to admire nature. Picture credit - https://leahhopephotography.client-gallery.com/.../print... I used the watercolour 100 paper and created two pieces of colour, one a range of dark and light Calypso Coral, and one a mix of Soft Sea Foam and Old Olive.  Once dry I was able to cut out the leaves and tiny flowers. I stamped the 3 large flowers over the watercolour and cut them out using the Hybrid Embossing Folder - It's so easy and super effective as it embosses and cuts in one pass creating some amazing depth for the blossoms. I love the leaf shapes and definition in these dies, just gorgeous. Lots of white seemed like a good way to let the colours shine, so a simple embosse...
