Colour INKspiration #24 closing out the year with some gorgeous colours.

Welcome back for the last CI post before Christmas.
I'm sure your place is as hectic as mine in the rundown to the end of the year.
And what a gorgeous colour palette to finish on for 2017.
And while I do still have Christmas cards to make I've also got a few birthdays coming up so went for a mix of old and new stampsets and a new card style for a bit of birthday pizazz.


It's been an amazing and beautiful colourful year. I do hope you get some time to be creative and to play along for this round.


I love a card that moves or has an interesting fold and this design is pretty easy - which is essential at this time of year. It did not take too long to put together which was a blessing!
I love the swirly bird set and don't use it often enough but it is always perfect for a quick card because the elements are so fun and imprecise.
I find Cherry Cobbler a very strong colour to use and a bit much for solid images so I used my favourite babywipe technique to get some graduation and make it a pinky-red which suits me much better. 
I also LOVE the Stampin Blends in the softer colours just for a background- it's as pretty as watercolouring a wash around but you don't get the water damage to the Whisper White card.


The sentiments come from a new set which will be available in the coming catalogue from January 3, Picture Perfect Birthday- it has a wonderful selection of bright birthday greetings which is brilliant to have some nice words for the insides.

CTC#48 Who doesn't love new DSP

Welcome back to CASEing the Catty for this round. You may have come from Rachel's beautiful project  or you maybe starting here. There are lots of great posts to visit. This week we are using new Designer Series paper from the Holiday Catalogue - and who doesn't love a pack of new paper? The problem of course is which one to choose.... followed by the problem of actually having to CUT into a pristine pack. ....I know you all know what I mean. I have lots of photos for you today to try and show off some of the designs, but it's not easy to capture and they always look so much better in real life. CTC#100 Presents and Pinecones

Can you believe we are 100 posts young???? Welcome to the 100th post for CASEing the Catty. You may have arrived form Katherine's post or you maybe starting here- Welcome!
