Welcome back for the 80th INKspiration colour challenge. Such soft and pretty colours were perfect for creating a 40th Birthday card for a neighbour. I CASEd a technique I saw recently (although I can't find it again now) using the Peaceful Poppies dies and spritqing with water and ink to mould the paper and create a 3D flower.
The flower is pink on pink with a purple posy layer as the thinlit on top. The leaves are both pieces of Soft Sea Foam but one is sponged with ink over the cardstock for a deeper layer, and the background is stamped with soft sea foam also before being run through the embossing folder. The glimmer paper is retired as are the big number framelits but they were perfect for the statement for this card.
I hope you have a creative week and remember,
"don't just post online,
post something pretty!"
cheers, Liz
Just strikingly beautiful and so vintage looking. Love it
