Those of you who follow me know I love a fancy fold card.
This is the Pinwheel Tower Card which has been popular on the social sites recently, but this version is cut to Australian measurements to fit in a regular C6 Envelope.
The central tower is DSP which seems to allow more flexibility and easier folding than when created from Cardstock.
DSP 1 piece 10.5 x 10.5 cm scored at 2.5, 5, 7.5, and 10 cm and adhered along the tiny flap to form the square central tower.
Cardstock 4 pieces 10.5 x 7 cm to form the 4 blades of the pinwheel
DSP / cardstock for decorating the panels 4 pieces 6.5 x 10 cm
4 pieces 4.2 x 10 cm
or as desired! Remember not to add too many embellishments so that your card will fold flat(ish) for posting. Where you are going to pop embellishments up on dimensionals arrange them on opposite panels rather than adjacent ones ( ie if you were to number the panels , then decorate 2 and 4 rather than 2 and 3 so it sits flatter).
