Bay Window Card using Celebratory Sips DSP and Charming Day Bundle, updated measurement

Painting the flowers using a blend of inks was quick and easy, Add a coat of Wink of Stella and it's done. I created this card for a swap using all current products. I've done many Bay Window Cards over the years but thought I would update the instructions for the sake of simplicity. It's an easy and fun card to make. This is a mix of metric and imperial cutting instructions. You can get two cards from one sheet of A4 cardstock - in Australian sizes just cut the A4 into two 10.5cm x 29.8cm  If you are cutting from 12 x 12 (and in this instance I used Two Tone Cardstock which is all 12 x 12) Cut to 4 1/4 x 11 3/4  Scoring measurements are the same for each : Score at 3/8", 2", 3 7/8", 5 1/2", 5 7/8" Two Tone cardstock is not as rigid as regular card so use Thick Basic White for the sentiment mat inside. CI#192 A tough colour combination but a fun project.

Well this certainly was a challenge to bring all these colours together, but in the end I enjoyed playing with this palette. I watercoloured a panel of Fluid 100 paper and then diecut various leaves and flowers using the gorgeous new Charming Floral dies. I knew I would need lots of white space to make this work for me. You can join the challenge too, just by posting a photo to the group. and since I had cut several pieces I created a few options. INKspired to join the challenge? It'...

Colour INKspiration #191 Celebratory Sips - letting the DSP do the work when time and materials are tight.

Welcome to our guest designer for this challenge Kisha Cook. It's so fun to have  a new guest designer each round. This could be you if your design is the chosen pick from one of our Challenges.  I so look forward to seeing what everyone has made and how they have interpreted the colour palette. The colours this week are very strong colours, but I have tried to soften them a little. We are still in the throes on renovation (pleased to say it is coming to an end) so I have opted for a very simple approach using the fabulous Celebratory Sips designer series paper to do all the heavy lifting for my card this week. I fussy cut two of the celebratory glasses and did some simple stamping of the lime, the sprig and berry and the sentiments. I die cut the berry spray from some retired Glimmer paper. I can't locate my heat gun so couldn't emboss the sentiments as planned, but I could find the blending brushes so added some Berry Burst colour to the pre printed emboss resist DSP for ...
