Colour INKspiration #191 Celebratory Sips - letting the DSP do the work when time and materials are tight.
Welcome to our guest designer for this challenge Kisha Cook. It's so fun to have a new guest designer each round. This could be you if your design is the chosen pick from one of our Challenges. I so look forward to seeing what everyone has made and how they have interpreted the colour palette.
The colours this week are very strong colours, but I have tried to soften them a little.
We are still in the throes on renovation (pleased to say it is coming to an end) so I have opted for a very simple approach using the fabulous Celebratory Sips designer series paper to do all the heavy lifting for my card this week. I fussy cut two of the celebratory glasses and did some simple stamping of the lime, the sprig and berry and the sentiments. I die cut the berry spray from some retired Glimmer paper. I can't locate my heat gun so couldn't emboss the sentiments as planned, but I could find the blending brushes so added some Berry Burst colour to the pre printed emboss resist DSP for the background.
INKspired to join the challenge? It's so easy. Firstly, get some INKspiration by checking out all of the creations of the Colour INKspiration Crew in the challenge album on our Facebook page. Then you have 12 days from today to make and upload your creation to the Facebook Colour INKspiration Group. You don't have to have a blog to participate but if you do you can link back to your post. Make sure you use all of the challenge colours. You can also use neutrals such as Whisper White, Very Vanilla, Crumb Cake, and Basic Black as well as Metallics.
