I am heading away for the weekend so wanted to post before I go. This is a fancy fold project I had fun making recently.
I found the directions while on holidays, thanks to Beth Beard for her great you tube clip with instructions.
I do love the Modern Medley DSP so found it quite striking to use. This design is quite quick to make, and the best thing is that when you cut the piece of 12x12 DSP to make your card, you automatically have 2 card bases ready to go. My upline and friend Joanne Travis taught me very early on that if you are going to make a card you should always make 2 at the same time. It takes no more time (in fact it saves time) and means that you are more likely to end up having cards on hand after the family raid your stores for their friends!! She was right and I have been glad of her wisdom more than once.
The first sample uses Rich Razzleberry and Very Vanilla, and the very adaptable Bloomin' Marvellous set (an oldie but a goodie!)

The second sample uses Blushing Bride, some white embossing powder and the Dazzling Diamonds glitter applied all over the Hearts Embosslits with Heat and Stick Powder. I don't think my photo shows these very well but they are quite sparkly. I have also died some of the ribbon roses with a touch of Blushing Bride ink using the markers.(so sad these are not still available ) Summer Silhouettes and Chalk Talk were the stamp sets used.
thanks for looking, Cheers, Liz
I absolutely ADORE the blushing bride card, just gorgeous. Thanks for the wonderful inspiration and also for the link to the 'how to' video.
