I have always like Sahara Sand and White, so I have created a few simple birthday cards using some of the DSP from the Sweet Sorbet pater series free with $90 purchase during Sale a Bration 2014.
The Butterfly is die cut from vellum and then partially dry embossed with the border folder on an angle, the flowers are cut using the Boho Blossom Punch and tied over Crumb cake ribbon with linen thread and a clear flower button. The lacy Delicate Details Tape behind the ribbon brings out the white.
The leaf motif from Summer Silhouettes is stamped in Sahara sand and highlighted using a silver glitter gel pen. The butterfly of course is from the go-to set Papillion Potpourri.
While the washi tape is not SU it matches nicely with the overall feel of of the card.
The label punch is highlighted with a little shimmer paint on the white, and the pearls just tie it all together.
I think I'm going to get some good use from this paper.Contact me if you would like to get some for yourself, Sale-a Bration starts in a few days.
Thanks for looking, Liz
