Creating with the Flower Shop stamp set and the coordinating Pansy Punch is lots of fun and I have made a few frames to sell at my stall at the Handmade Expo Markets here in Rockhampton this weekend. This is my favourite.
To make each flower I have punched the stamped image and 2 of the coordinating plain cardstock. I cut a slit in each flower between 2 petals to the centre. In the catalogue they have used crystal buttons but for my centre I have threaded a shiny bead with florist wire and poked it through. Using a hot glue gun is always tricky (now wearing bandaids on several fingers as proof), the petals are curled around the centre bead and glued one over the other to pull the flower into a 3D shape.
The chipboard word was sponged with black ink, and the Shadow box frame is from Ikea. I wish I had bought more of those!
Thanks for looking, Liz
