We Stamp For Lara Colour Challenge and SUO#117

Well I'm so pleased to be part of the We Stamp for Lara project which started on March 1st. It's a fabulous fundraising initiative for a fellow SU Demonstrator Madonna Dunn and her daughter. They are 29 people short of their target of 300 so maybe you can join in too,

So not only do you get the tutorials mailed to you every day for the whole month, but you are able to join the private Facebook group. You should see all the fabulous samples being posted there and the beautiful inspiration. I encourage you to consider joining.

The first week there is an optional colour challenge- not my strength really,
So I have inked up a brand new set - 'Hello Love' and created a card which I am also entering in the Stampin' Up! Only Challeng #117 - Cards for Teens. The little flowers are from the Pictogram Punches set and matching Punch, and the ribbon and buttons are one of the cute Sale-a-Bration accessory packs which are only available until the end of March.

Envelope Dies perfect for an Acetate Tent card and some new DSP

After creating yesterday's cards I was on a roll and created this one using the beautiful Gilded Autumn DSP and the Fancy Phrases stamp set.  I really love the sentiments in this set.  It is such a simple design and easy to create. You can find all the directions on yesterday's post for Just Add Ink (JAI#518)  I watercoloured the white leaf after I had adhered the gold veins just to soften it, and I added a strip of mint DSP to the front of one of the tent stands as the white was a bit stark. That's the cool thing about this design, you can change it up plenty of ways. I'm sure we can all send these type of cards at the moment.
