Social Stamping with HEARTS

Hello again - back for some more Social Stamping with Kelly, and this week the theme is hearts. It's so nice to share this hobby and stamp with friends from all over the place.
A buckle card is an easy fun fold that makes an interesting card. I shared some Honey Bee Samples here, where you will find the measurements and instructions link, but today I have an alternative version using the gorgeous Peaceful Poppies.

I watercoloured a whole sheet of the fabulous Fluid 100 watercolour paper using Merry Merlot, Rococo Rose and Petal Pink. Then I heat embossed the poppies in white and cut out a whole sheet of flowers and hearts. Now I can create a stack of cards quite quickly.
I hope you get lots of time to be creative too. Be sure and hop all the way around the group.

Next this week is Peta

I hope you have a creative week and remember,
"don't just post online,
 post something pretty!"
cheers, Liz

  2. Great idea to watercolour a whole sheet and then cut out all of the images. A great way to make many cards quickly. I love the water coloured flower and heart. They really pop against the black and white background. Great buckle card.

CTC#86 Everyday is a good day to send a card

Welcome to the CASEing the Catty Sunday night blogshop where we use a section of the Catalogue to inspire this weeks projects. Designers can take a layout, a colour combination, or any element as the starting point to create something new. We invite you to tour around the hop and to join in -after all the Catalogue has so many beautiful samples to inspire us all. If you get lost you'll find the full crew here . You may have arrived from Simone , so welcome. And this week we are really excited to welcome 3 new designers to the team, Krissy, Deb and Kelly  please do leave them a comment and welcome. New In colour 2025-2027 cards and the FABULOUS Extraordinary Flora Washi Tape.

Don't you love it when a single product creates enough elements to decorate a bunch of cards at one time? The Extraordinary Flora Washi tape is one of those products. I created these for my upcoming Catalogue Launch. I put the Washi onto Basic Beige to cut these flowers and love how it coordinates with the Basic Beige card base. To create these cards I trimmed 2.5cm from the front edge and adhered a 3.5cm strip of DSP to the inside of the card to give an added layer. These were easy to put together. Darling Duckling Secret Sea Strawberry Slush Timid Tiger Cloud Clover June 3 - 30 Stampin Up has an amazing offer where you can get 50% off any second product from a suite. So for example if you were to purchase the Extraordinary Flora Die you would be able to buy the tape at 50% off. Please reach out if you want more information on this great deal. You can see all the available suites in my online store. I am loving all the new colours.  I hope you have a creative week and remember,...

Colour INKspiration#178 Happy Hibiscus

Happy Hibiscus is a new set in my collection and I needed to get it out and play with it, so this colour combination seemed like a good place to start.  Isn't the Inspiration picture amazing? I wish I was a better gardener and could grow these gorgeous treasures. But since that is not my skill I am happy to admire nature. Picture credit - https://leahhopephotography.client-gallery.com/.../print... I used the watercolour 100 paper and created two pieces of colour, one a range of dark and light Calypso Coral, and one a mix of Soft Sea Foam and Old Olive.  Once dry I was able to cut out the leaves and tiny flowers. I stamped the 3 large flowers over the watercolour and cut them out using the Hybrid Embossing Folder - It's so easy and super effective as it embosses and cuts in one pass creating some amazing depth for the blossoms. I love the leaf shapes and definition in these dies, just gorgeous. Lots of white seemed like a good way to let the colours shine, so a simple embosse...
