Colour INKspiration #78 Gorgeous pink.

Hello friendly colour lovers! This week's colour palette is very refined - and open to so many different interpretations. Blushing Bride is a very versatile pink but it has taken a back seat recently to the more "peachy" pale pink.
I have been having so much fun with the brand new Jar Punch and the coordinating self adhesive jars which will be available next week - June 3rd.  They are incredibly easy to use and just so effective.
I have created this card using 3 punches- the jar, the little flower and the sprig punch.
I watercoloured a piece of shimmery white cardstock with only Blushing Bride ink, then I punched out a selection of flowers. These were shaped using the large ball end of the stylus and adhered using foam dots. All the leaves were created using only punches

The jars are quite high but they are so effective, and dead easy to use. I have filled mine with a selection of beads, sequins and sparkly bits from various collections around my craft room. I have a few ideas for alternative fillings!!! You can see how high the jars sit off the page- all the better to get  good sequin shaking action happening without everything sticking to the window. - lots of fun.

It's a very simple colour palette this week. We hope you have lots of fun creating with it too.
 Take care of yourself,

I hope you have a creative week and remember,
"don't just post online,
 post something pretty!"
cheers, Liz

Envelope Dies perfect for an Acetate Tent card and some new DSP

After creating yesterday's cards I was on a roll and created this one using the beautiful Gilded Autumn DSP and the Fancy Phrases stamp set.  I really love the sentiments in this set.  It is such a simple design and easy to create. You can find all the directions on yesterday's post for Just Add Ink (JAI#518)  I watercoloured the white leaf after I had adhered the gold veins just to soften it, and I added a strip of mint DSP to the front of one of the tent stands as the white was a bit stark. That's the cool thing about this design, you can change it up plenty of ways. I'm sure we can all send these type of cards at the moment. I hope you are safe and well, and staying connected, wherever you are.
