Well it's been a while since I created just for the joy of creating rather than a project for an obligation- and what a nice day I've had!
I found this double flap card and loved the layout so I created one using the gorgeous colours for this challenge. I took the inspiration very literally and used the fabulous pear image. I've been wanting to create with this set but it's taken me weeks to get ink onto the stamps.
The dimensions for this card are imperial, (I found them here on Brenda's blog) so once I had made one I redesigned it for metric measurements which you can find on yesterday's post. I also think this would be a great layout for using up some DSP - but that will have to wait for another day!
When you open the first card front this is what you see,
I applied the colour to the pear stamp using both sponge daubers and stamp'n write markers. Inside is just very pale (3rd generation) stamping to write over.
