I love the beautiful shapes of the Wildflowers in the Meadows Dies. There are 4 floral stems, 2 leaves stems and 2 butterflies and 2 tags. The dies can be used alone or in conjunction with the Quiet Meadow stampset. For these samples I have added some additional texture using the sunflower dies and some pink foil.
I am so happy that both of these products are continuing on in the next Annual Catalogue due out in May. I have teamed them here with the beautiful Hand Penned DSP which has already sold out. But any pastel background piece will work.
My tip to paint the dies is to run a full sheet of Shimmery White Cardstock through the die cut and emboss machine, and to leave them in the base sheet to colour. I have used an aqua painter and coloured the flowers and butterflies with Magenta Madness and Bumblebee, and the leaves and stems with Garden Green and Just Jade.
Once the colours are dry you can press them out of the sheet and you are ready to go.
Here's another sample using a similar layout and my old favourite technique of stitching a button in place- best for hand delivered cards and not posted ones, but oh so lovely.
You can find all the products I used in my online store here
I hope you have a creative week and remember,"don't just post online,
post something pretty!"
cheers, Liz
