Bron's 60th Birthday Blog #4, CASEing the CAtty pages in the 60's

Tonights post is sharing a very special Blog Hop!

We're a group of stamping friends that are celebrating Bron's 60th Birthday in 2022 with six blog hops, over six months, with six fun themes!

This months theme is "CASEing the Catty from a Page in the Sixties"

Well I haven't been able to participate at all so far in Bron's Birthday Blog hops and I was determined to join in this week.

Knowing that Bronwyn loves Blue I've used that as a base, and knowing that she loves moving cards I wanted to create one of those. So I have loosely CASE'd the bottom left card with the large title word over strips of DSP. My Father in Law celebrates his 90th birthday soon so this will be for him - keep going Bron, your 66% of the way there!

The Happy die is retired, as is the Large Number dies and Stitched Stars Dies and the Pretty Perrenials for the sentiment stamp, but all other products are current.

The SunPrints DSP is so beautiful and I love using it for creating.

The card design is from a tutorial from Vy Tran and it's a little complex so I would recommend crafting along with her video which you can find here.

CTC#48 Who doesn't love new DSP

Welcome back to CASEing the Catty for this round. You may have come from Rachel's beautiful project or you maybe starting here. There are lots of great posts to visit. This week we are using new Designer Series paper from the Holiday Catalogue - and who doesn't love a pack of new paper? The problem of course is which one to choose.... followed by the problem of actually having to CUT into a pristine pack. ....I know you all know what I mean. I have lots of photos for you today to try and show off some of the designs, but it's not easy to capture and they always look so much better in real life. I have purchased two packs - the Happy Haunting pack on page 47, which I was inspired to get purely from the background piece on the Lighthearted Leaves card on page 44. Can you believe we are 100 posts young???? Welcome to the 100th post for CASEing the Catty. You may have arrived form Katherine's post or you maybe starting here- Welcome! Be sure to hop around all the participants this week as we take inspiration from the Presents and Pinecones. I've been short of time with lots of commitments- aren't we all too busy?? So I needed a quick card for this week's post - which is perfect as I am planning a stamp-a-stack for Christmas class. It's a very big section of the catalogue but I settled on the gorgeous card on page xxx I have a few different versions using the same layout but different colours and embellishments. Not everyone loves tying bows so I tried to make them very simple. Heat embossing is such a simple way to add instant pizazz. CI#04 Jars of Love

Welcome back for another Colour INKspiration challenge. Aren't those pansies in the inspiration picture this week just stunning - those gorgeous yellows and strong purples. These are not colours I normally gravitate to but a challenge is all about extending yourself so i'm glad to have had a go! I have recreated a selection of jars with my very favourite Jar of Love set. I have made cards like this before using very bright colours which are fun and very sweet, (and I'll post them tomorrow, so make sure you have filled in the follow by email box on the right side of this page) but today I needed to make a Sympathy card for a good friend who also loves Stampin' Up! It's a card for my work friends to give a colleague so it needed to be big enough for lots of people to sign it.
