At my catalogue launch last weekend I wanted to showcase how lovely and bright the new Gardens Impressions DSP is. There are so many bright and fun patterns that mix and match. The paper is so lovely it can be the hero of your project and needs little else to be with it.
I have several projects to show you and I'll post them over the next few days.
The most fun is this gorgeous fold out box.
I first saw this at Onstage in Sydney this year where one of the ladies at our table had made one as a gift for her companion. We all admired it and she sent me the link to the video by Heidi which has a great demonstration of how to construct it. This is one of the things I love most about Onstage- meeting other demos and sharing ideas.

Here are the printed details:
Punch and Score on all 4 sides at 13/8" and 33/8"
On EACH side cut one slit down to the corner of the square which will form the base of the box, make this slit a small wedge.
Fold the flaps in and glue to form a little box big enough to hold one Ferrero
Border strip for outside case
CARDSTOCK 11/2" x 12"
Score at 27/8", 53/4", 75/8", 111/2"
Apply Fast Fuse or strong glue just to one side of each of the score lines.
Adhere one little box next to each score line
Ribbon - approx 55cm, apply glue tape (approx 1-2") to the centre of the piece of ribbon. Adhere underneath the box when folded, pull each end up to the top and tie in a bow.
Create sentiment piece.
Apply dimensionals to only one of the Ferrero boxes.
Position the sentiment and adhere in that corner - this will then allow the box to open freely.

The colours of the DSP are so fresh and would work well with either side.
The sentiments are stamped using the Detailed With Love set. After stamping the sentiment I used the little diamond design and stamped randomly with an alternate colour (stamped off) to add some background colour. I used the 11/2" and 13/4" punches.
