Colour INKspiration #40

Welcome back for Colour INKspiration round #40. This round will be up for 3 weeks so you have quite a while to create a project using this week's inspiration photo and post it to our Facebook page.

The photo this week is very regal with strong colours. 

I love the woodgrain, the lines, the ornate ceiling rose, the candelabra, the table and chairs. But I don't love Old Olive ( and I can never get it to look the right shade in my photos), and I don't own Gorgeous Grape ink (so I substituted Highland Heather, though I did have the right cardstock). In the end I made a little set of gift notecards using the Hostess set "Seasoned with Kindness" which has been patiently waiting to get inked up. 

The Olive paper used to decorate the front of the pizza box is from the new Frosted Floral DSP which will be in the Holiday Catalogue. It's such beautiful paper it could almost make me love Old Olive......

 Some of the pots I stamped directly onto woodgrain paper and some I stamped onto Vanilla and coloured with the blender pen.
The Stamparatus was fabulous for positioning the leaves and I was able to stamp off the solid image so that it wasn't too strong, then stamp the lined images several times to get nice dark detail. .......Love my STAMPARATUS!
And of course the Layering Squares thinlints allow you to get just the finest border detail of colour. Much more accurate than just using the trimmer. So many tools to make it easier (Not really faster in my case!)
