CTC 197 Joyous Noel chistmas project

HI all, just a quick post today - where does the day go???
I was inspired by the gorgeous Feathers and Frost suite and the beautiful images on page 30 of the holiday catalogue.
I have played with it before and I love it and you'll see some of those samples here and here.

For this card I heat embossed the leaf image in white on Crumb cake and used the Call me Clover ink to colour in the leaves, and a white gel pen to colour in the berries. A few layers of coordinating Call Me Clover paper and card and there you have it.
The beautiful little birdie doesn't appear until the inside. I coloured these using the Stampin Blends- super fast!!! (Just what we need at Christmas). For the sentiment I had fun using the Christmas Traditions Punch Box and coordinating punch. You'll find this treasure tucked away on page 2 of the catalogue. It's kind of easy to miss as you head straight in for the major sets but it's very easy to use. And it comes with the Real Red and Call Me Clover Ink spots too. I'll have more samples using this coming up soon.

You can see I snuck in a little branch for him to sit on - easily punched using the sprig punch! I am so loving this punch.
I added a few white mini pearls to the front.
There's lots to love in this section of the book. What will you make to share with us on our Facebook page?
Next on the hop this week is Judy. Her projects are always so detailed and precise.
and before me this week is the fabulous Julia
Don't forget we love to see what you create using the same inspiration pictures. Upload a picture of your project to our Facebook page.

I hope you have a creative week and remember,
"don't just post online,
 post something pretty!"

cheers, Liz

Envelope Dies perfect for an Acetate Tent card and some new DSP

After creating yesterday's cards I was on a roll and created this one using the beautiful Gilded Autumn DSP and the Fancy Phrases stamp set.  I really love the sentiments in this set.  It is such a simple design and easy to create. You can find all the directions on yesterday's post for Just Add Ink (JAI#518)  I watercoloured the white leaf after I had adhered the gold veins just to soften it, and I added a strip of mint DSP to the front of one of the tent stands as the white was a bit stark. That's the cool thing about this design, you can change it up plenty of ways. I'm sure we can all send these type of cards at the moment. I hope you are safe and well, and staying connected, wherever you are. I hope you have a creative week and remember,  "don't just post online,  post something pretty!" cheers, Liz Product List Ornamental Envelopes Bundle [ 155168 ] $83.50 Envelopes  Dies [ 153531 ] $63.00 Shimmery White A4 Car
