Monochromatic Birthday with some fancy labels


The Handmade Expo markets are on again this weekend and I have been trying to build up some stock.
How's this for a sweet Birthday Card, using up some prepared panels of the laser DSP white on white which I had done earlier.


So what do you do when you smudge the inside stamping? - make a label and stick it over the top of course. Nice to mirror the label on both the front and inside panels.
 ANd then the inside of the cover seemed to have picked up a few Mossy Meadow marks- so obviously we hide them by making some really obvious stamping.

A few little bling bits and one of those super cute silver candles and this one was done.
I still had another little panel, so this one came together quite quickly using up bits and pieces.

CTC#48 Who doesn't love new DSP

Welcome back to CASEing the Catty for this round. You may have come from Rachel's beautiful project  or you maybe starting here. There are lots of great posts to visit. This week we are using new Designer Series paper from the Holiday Catalogue - and who doesn't love a pack of new paper? The problem of course is which one to choose.... followed by the problem of actually having to CUT into a pristine pack. ....I know you all know what I mean. I have lots of photos for you today to try and show off some of the designs, but it's not easy to capture and they always look so much better in real life. I have purchased two packs - the Happy Haunting pack on page 47, which I was inspired to get purely from the background piece on the Lighthearted Leaves card on page 44. Envelope Dies perfect for an Acetate Tent card and some new DSP

After creating yesterday's cards I was on a roll and created this one using the beautiful Gilded Autumn DSP and the Fancy Phrases stamp set.  I really love the sentiments in this set.  It is such a simple design and easy to create. You can find all the directions on yesterday's post for Just Add Ink (JAI#518)  I watercoloured the white leaf after I had adhered the gold veins just to soften it, and I added a strip of mint DSP to the front of one of the tent stands as the white was a bit stark. That's the cool thing about this design, you can change it up plenty of ways. I'm sure we can all send these type of cards at the moment.
