Layering Leaves card classes, Embossed Leaves, simple but with impact

Using Layering Leaves I loved exploring different ways to create an impact with the leaf stamps.

I liked both the Black embossing powder effect and the White embossed leaves. What's your preference?

Both the sentiment and the leaves are embossed with black embossing powder. I love how glossy they are. And a square card is good for a different effect. Kraft cardstock is one of my favourites for its punch and presence. A simple strip of coordinating paper behind adds a touch of glamour.

The white leaves were heat embossed and then I coloured in the leaves using a marker. The mat of patterned paper added a touch of mixed colour for a different look. I do love using up retired product with new product. I'm sure you have some in your stash which would work well with this layout. I call this the 

Use your markers to flick a little touch of colour speckle to tie it all together.

and no scrap gets left behind!!! a quick strip border with an edge of foil easily dresses up the inside, and uses up those tiny leftover pieces.
