Snowflake Showcase Bloghop

Hello again, in a new venture I am participating in an international bloghop where we are using the gorgeous new limited time Snowflakes suite. 

A big hello from Central Qld where we will never ever see snowflakes!! 

We are in a heat wave and drought at the moment so I have focused on the floral images - and it's spring here so that's perfect.

There are 2 stamp sets and a coordinating set of framelits.

I am focusing on the "Happiness Surrounds" set which is not a Christmas set and this is the 4th in my "5 Episodes of Happiness" series using this stamp set and the framelits on my blog.

I've used some simple stamping to demonstrate how the same layout can be used for some stepped up versions.

The beginner crafter usually has few supplies, so this card uses just stamps, 3 colours of ink and the gorgeous ready packed foil notecards and envelopes, some plain coloured cardstock for the rectangle mat and a single pearl adhered in the centre. 

The photopolymer stamps make it really easy to line up the images. (I have some tips on lining up the images in yesterday's post)

The casual crafter may have a few more supplies but is unlikely to own a bigshot. In addition to the above supplies this card uses 2 circle punches and some ribbon.

The avid crafter loves lots of layers and techniques and creates regularly. This version uses the bigshot and the coordinating thinlits to builds layers, and has some added bling and texture.

 I love the leaf circular image cut with the "frilly" framelit (bottom row 2nd from the left), and the larger plain flower (top row) They layer so well together. (more ideas using this framelit and image for a double layer wreath here)
You can see the layers better in the last image. I have painted the flower with Wink of Stella and it looks very shimmery. The stitched label framelits were also used for the added features.

It's truly a gorgeous set and so easy to use.
