CTC#227 FAVOURITE RETIRING BUNDLE

Welcome back to another week for CASEing the Catty. Life has been super busy for me recently but I always love these challenges. This week we are CASEing a favourite retiring bundle. Some bundles are retiring but the individual products will still be available to purchase separately, however they will no longer have the 10% discount which applies to a bundle. SO if theres something you have been wishing for I'd recommend purchasing before the end of May. ( Use the Shop Now button on the right side of the page)
As always with a New catalogue there are casualties- those that did not survive another year. I always have a few, this year there's a lot of favourites going for me so it was hard to decide which one. 



I have used Cake Soiree today because I really love the little roses in that set. You can cut 1 large and 2 small roses, and 2 round and 2 long leaves at one time which is a brilliant feature.

Today's set of little 3 x 3 notecards is very simple and uses only the roses. I was short on time so stamped the leaves from Needlepoint Nook and I love them together.
I used the babywipe technique for some hydrangea type colours. Blueberry Bushel, Balmy Blue and Highland Heather.

This week (last night) saw the opening of a gorgeous shop in rockhampton called Our Shop which stocks all handmade items and my cards are in there !!!! (eek).
So this little tin is part of the stock, and perhaps explains why I've been so quiet in recent challenges. Very exciting but super busy!

    Good luck with your new venture Liz, I'm sure these note cards will be very popular. I love how you've used the baby wipe technique to give your roses the colour of a hydrangea, very clever.

GDP #277 a gorgeous colour combination with Pretty Perennials

The Pretty Perennials Stampset is gorgeous to use on its own but the floral dies really do add a little something special. My card this week matches the colour challenge at the Global Design Project. I have stamped directly onto the Oh so Ombre DSP which is a free Sale A Bration item with a qualifying purchase for the rest of this month. I love the tone on tone stamping for added depth. I have gone over the Happy with Wink of Stella but it's not easy to photograph. The teeny heart is a teeny leftover of some retired Blushing Bride Glimmer paper and I have also incorporated other retired embellishments like the library clip and crystal button - I do love to use them up. CTC#48 Who doesn't love new DSP

Welcome back to CASEing the Catty for this round. You may have come from Rachel's beautiful project  or you maybe starting here. There are lots of great posts to visit. This week we are using new Designer Series paper from the Holiday Catalogue - and who doesn't love a pack of new paper? The problem of course is which one to choose.... followed by the problem of actually having to CUT into a pristine pack. ....I know you all know what I mean. I have lots of photos for you today to try and show off some of the designs, but it's not easy to capture and they always look so much better in real life. I have purchased two packs - the Happy Haunting pack on page 47, which I was inspired to get purely from the background piece on the Lighthearted Leaves card on page 44.
