Cards from my Christmas Class - I'm loving the Musical Christmas set

Last Sunday I held my Christmas Card Stamp a Stack- as well as a technique class in the morning.
Here's a few photos of the day and some of the Christmas Card Buffet cards I offered, as well as some other samples which I had created for inspiration.
I am loving the Musical Instruments Framelits and the Musical Seasons stampset as well as the Musical paper.

For my stamp a stack I run it as a card Buffet. Each card is done up in packs of 5, each participant chooses 2 packs. At the end of the day if there are extra kits left over participants may purchase additional packs and do the stamping/ cutting/embossing etc and take the pieces home to finish assembly.
I don't necessarily use current DSP but I always use current stampsets. Because of this there are variable numbers of kits for each design depending on what supplies I have on hand. I find it a good way to use up large quantities of DSP which I may have accumulated. Sometimes not having enough ribbon or embellishment may mean I have to limit the quantity of each design.
At the end of the day whatever kits I have left over I make up to sell as packs either at work or at the Markets.
Hope that gives you some ideas too.
I did have plans to make lots of music paper decorations but that had to take a back seat for now!

You can see the Christmas packs ready to go at the back in this shot.
Love those smiling faces!

Inspiration cards- these weren't offered to make but were just sample ideas.

These were the options:

Option 1.
Year of Cheer DSP and Watercolour Wishes stampset as well as Holly Berry Happiness and the matching punch

Options 2 and 3 also used the Year of Cheer DSP.
I changed this slightly for the class - in the original (you can see them here) there was a charm tied around the bow with gold thread but for a big group we instead stamped and punched the snowflakes from Flurry of Wishes

Options 4 and 5.
For the next 2 card choices I created ONE kit which could be used to make either of 2 options. Both used the Musical Seasons Stampset and matching Framelits and/or Watercolor Wishes. Cutting only one kit was a real timesaver. The second option used the layout from the Bermuda Bay sample but in the Mint Macaron colour scheme.

Options 6 and 7
Again, the one kit could be made up in one of 2 designs. Both used the fabulous Dynamic Pinewood Planks embossing folder for the card front.
The first card used Musical Seasons,  but the second used the new Hostess set Merry Patterns.

the candles were a popular option.

 Option 7.
This was very simple using Labels to Love and its matching punch. It was very simple stamping using only one colour. All the ribbon pieces were stappled onto a small scrap of Very vanilla and then glued to the card base to make it fast and easy.

And lastly Option 8.
This was extremely popular - and very easy. Someone had the bright idea of embossing the whole card front using the new Quilt Top Embossing Folder which looked amazing and I'll be doing that with any more I make like this. It was very simple stamping using the Hello Friend wreath in only one colour and a Champagne Foil star.

Have a creative week!

Thanks for looking, and remember

GDP #277 a gorgeous colour combination with Pretty Perennials

The Pretty Perennials Stampset is gorgeous to use on its own but the floral dies really do add a little something special. My card this week matches the colour challenge at the Global Design Project. I have stamped directly onto the Oh so Ombre DSP which is a free Sale A Bration item with a qualifying purchase for the rest of this month. I love the tone on tone stamping for added depth. I have gone over the Happy with Wink of Stella but it's not easy to photograph. The teeny heart is a teeny leftover of some retired Blushing Bride Glimmer paper and I have also incorporated other retired embellishments like the library clip and crystal button - I do love to use them up. Pink and florals - a perfect match. Here's what I used. New In colour 2025-2027 cards and the FABULOUS Extraordinary Flora Washi Tape.

Don't you love it when a single product creates enough elements to decorate a bunch of cards at one time? The Extraordinary Flora Washi tape is one of those products. I created these for my upcoming Catalogue Launch. I put the Washi onto Basic Beige to cut these flowers and love how it coordinates with the Basic Beige card base. To create these cards I trimmed 2.5cm from the front edge and adhered a 3.5cm strip of DSP to the inside of the card to give an added layer. These were easy to put together. Darling Duckling Secret Sea Strawberry Slush Timid Tiger Cloud Clover June 3 - 30 Stampin Up has an amazing offer where you can get 50% off any second product from a suite. So for example if you were to purchase the Extraordinary Flora Die you would be able to buy the tape at 50% off. Please reach out if you want more information on this great deal. You can see all the available suites in my online store. I am loving all the new colours.  I hope you have a creative week and remember,...

CTC#48 Who doesn't love new DSP

Welcome back to CASEing the Catty for this round. You may have come from Rachel's beautiful project  or you maybe starting here. There are lots of great posts to visit. This week we are using new Designer Series paper from the Holiday Catalogue - and who doesn't love a pack of new paper? The problem of course is which one to choose.... followed by the problem of actually having to CUT into a pristine pack. ....I know you all know what I mean. I have lots of photos for you today to try and show off some of the designs, but it's not easy to capture and they always look so much better in real life. I have purchased two packs - the Happy Haunting pack on page 47, which I was inspired to get purely from the background piece on the Lighthearted Leaves card on page 44. I don't celebrate Halloween, nor am I usually all that partial to Orange shades, but maybe that's changing! because I really like the designs. The pack has several papers that are specifically...
