Welcome back for another round of creating with colour - and what a stunning colour palette this week.
I have tried a completely new style and playing with watercolour for this card. It's not perfect but it's ok for a beginner!
the aim is to get a large "drop" of colour and try to get the bulk of the colour at the base to form a more concentrated colour arc around the bead of liquid for the blooms. Not very obvious in the photos.
I added the stems with a black journalling pen, although I did stamp the stamens from the Colourful Seasons set.
The leafy undergrowth is one of the lovely plants from the hostess set Seasoned with Kindness.
Next on the hop this week is Rachel, and she has created something lovely again this week.

It was quite a fun technique and I'll keep working on it. Here is another colour combination, and I also did some Dandelions with this technique too.
I think they make quite a funky look and will suit some of my nieces more than the regular floral cards I make. I do love the hand doodled stems of little leaves.
