Dynamic Seasonal Wreath for Global Design Project#165

I have been busy making Christmas Cards and love this beautiful wreath embossing folder. It looks so lovey sponged with White Shimmer Paint.
This is a fairly simple attachment of punched embellishments, a loop of the lovely Merry Merlot and Copper ribbon stapled on with some twine strands. I threaded the (retired) silver embellishment through before tying a bow. The wooden word is sponged lightly with the Merry Merlot inkpad.
Super quick in the end. This could be my go to card for 2018!
I think it also qualifies for JAI#434 if I'm published in time!

For the inside I ended up cutting up one of the fabulous foil edged cards after I smudged ink on the reverse. But no matter it hasn't gone to waste. The sentiment is from the retired Musical set from 2107, I still love the simplicity of this message.

I'm quite happy with this one. How's your Christmas preparation coming along?

Envelope Dies perfect for an Acetate Tent card and some new DSP

After creating yesterday's cards I was on a roll and created this one using the beautiful Gilded Autumn DSP and the Fancy Phrases stamp set.  I really love the sentiments in this set.  It is such a simple design and easy to create. You can find all the directions on yesterday's post for Just Add Ink (JAI#518)  I watercoloured the white leaf after I had adhered the gold veins just to soften it, and I added a strip of mint DSP to the front of one of the tent stands as the white was a bit stark. That's the cool thing about this design, you can change it up plenty of ways. I'm sure we can all send these type of cards at the moment. I hope you are safe and well, and staying connected, wherever you are.
